Meet Melanie Fowler

Melanie supports STOIX’s executive search team as an Executive Assistant, bringing 12 years’ experience in executive and business support following an earlier career as a City solicitor. Her background combines legal experience with the practical work of supporting executives, giving her a perspective on professional environments where effective project management, business and client needs and attention to detail are critical for the people and businesses involved.

Melanie is involved in preparing and negotiating client and supplier contracts, managing client and supplier setup, and fine-tuning NDAs to meet internal and client needs, supporting all finance functions and ensuring that both external and internal compliance protocols are met. Melanie has experience in supporting HR and payroll departments. She also helps develop processes to ensure that STOIX runs smoothly and consistently, whilst remaining flexible to meet clients’ needs and regulatory and industry requirements.

Melanie is also the STOIX B Corp champion, helping to embed the B Corp ethos of balancing social, environmental, and financial responsibility rather than focusing solely on shareholder profits. She also helps to ensure that those rigorous standards are met, maintained and further developed at STOIX.

Melanie brings a broad professional perspective to STOIX, drawing on her 16 years’ experience as a solicitor, over a decade in executive and business support and time living and working in the US and Australia.

Dorset-based and London-born; Melanie is a keen traveller, beach lover, theatre-goer and fan of all things food and garden-related.
