Meet Sareen Aujla

Sareen leads research and delivery for PLC clients at STOIX, bringing over 15 years’ experience in executive search. Her work spans technology, manufacturing and consumer businesses, including FMCG and lifestyle brands, with appointments covering CFOs, managing directors, finance directors and commercial leaders. She has worked on searches in the UK and internationally, bringing a broad perspective to the business challenges behind senior appointments.

She takes time to understand what the organisation needs and the person behind the CV. That means considering the business challenge alongside a candidate’s experience, motivations and approach to leadership. Her interest extends to how someone will work with the people around them and what the move could mean for their own development, as well as the role they are being considered for.

Sareen follows how appointments develop beyond the initial placement. Staying interested in the people and businesses involved gives her a longer view of a search, including how a leader settles into a role and how the appointment evolves. That continuing curiosity reflects the importance she places on understanding people and building relationships over time.

She enjoys exploring how technology can improve executive search and building communities around sectors and diversity. Her interest is in the practical contribution these ideas can make to research, relationships and the way in which executive search is delivered better.

Outside work, Sareen juggles two children and an energetic Goldendoodle, makes time for Pilates and is a devoted Formula 1 fan, always happy to discuss the latest race, team tactics or championship contenders.
